A highly personal service

We work with people located from Bristol to London, including the home counties

Our aim is quite simply to do the best for you. We want to help you achieve your life goals, realise your ambitions, and take away the financial worry.

We’re a small team of three, which means we give you a highly personalised service. This in turn means we really get to know you and build long-lasting relationships with you.

Working with us, you’ll have a specialist Partner who is much more than a financial adviser.  We’ll work alongside you like a mentor.

We hate complexity but love simplicity so we promise to crunch both the numbers and the jargon to make reading your finances an effortless process.

And we're happy to meet with you in person or online; you can visit us in our offices in Knightsbridge and the City of London.

I started my career with NatWest Insurance Services Limited, which I fell into by complete accident (no young person in their right mind would want to have a career in insurance!).

From there I moved swiftly onto providing advice to NatWest advisers on companies pensions to directors of small, limited companies. I helped launch NatWest’s own life assurance company NatWest Life, and then became a financial adviser working for Equity & Law. This was 1996 and I still have clients to this day from then.

In 2003, I was approached by St. James’s Place to join the Partnership and the rest, they say, is history.

I'm now a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a professional body for the financial planning industry, which means you're working with someone with the highest qualifications available.

Outside of work my passion is cars; I also enjoy playing badly at golf, tennis and squash. I’m married to Rebecca and we have one son, George, studying biomedicine at Keele University.

I was a Financial adviser myself for 5 years with Lloyds Bank and then with St. James`s Place.

Having chosen to move into a non-advisory role, I have now been a paraplanner for 11 years with St. James`s Place and have worked in Paul`s office since 2014. I enjoy providing Paul’s office with a fast and efficient service, working together as a team, helping to meet all client’s needs. I still provide paraplanning services to other members of the St. James's Place Partnership.

I live in the Cotswolds, have two dogs which I enjoy walking every day, and enjoy travelling when I can.

All St. James’s Place wealth managers are picked after a rigorous selection process where they must surpass a number of mandatory requirements. Having this exclusive stable of financial experts guarantees clients an exceptional wealth management service across the board.

St. James’s Place guarantees the suitability of the advice given by members of the St. James’s Place Partnership when recommending any of the wealth management products and services available from companies in the group, more details of which are set out on the Group’s website.

Charity

We recognise we’re in a position where we can support people who are less fortunate than ourselves. That’s why we strongly support the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation.

Since 1992, the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has aimed to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and young people awarding its grants across four main themes including cancer and mental health.

So far the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has raised over £100m on behalf of thousands of small to medium-sized charities. It does this through specific fundraising events - from running across the Kalahari Desert to golf days - as well as through donations from the St. James's Place community.
